Dear Laurie,

The first thing I noticed about you was your warmth. Upon entering the studio, I immediately felt the coziness and calm. Even though we had just met, I was immediately comfortable. Like most people, I don’t like being photographed, I get nervous, my body feels stiff somehow. But with you, one just feels relaxed. Relaxed enough to share our stories. Even as we are talking, we don’t realize the volumes we are sharing about ourselves-until we feel the ‘goosebumps’. The warmth starts spreading!

But with you, one just feels relaxed. Relaxed enough to share our stories.

Laurie, you have a knack for capturing the essence of a person. When we least expect it you snap the picture, then another and another. It is not just a photo shoot; it is an experience. We leave knowing more about ourselves.  Although the picture is showing just the outside, the essence, what you capture is the image of what is inside. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. The expression, posture and message you finesse speaks volumes.

I think that we each feel ‘goosebumps’ because we know what we see in the photograph is the true image of ourselves. The twinkle in our eyes has meaning just for us, we alone are aware of the underlying secret that the photo reveals. Rather than simple providing the answer, you drew us out and we discovered more about ourselves and the unique difference we make.

Sincerely following ‘the goosebumps’,

One of your Life Messengers

P.S. Not only an avid supporter of your community and the businesses it hosts, you are an advocate for men and women within your community and beyond. You are not shy about sharing accolades and your comments and speaking selflessly celebrate the people around you. Laurie, your message is simple – we all have a voice. Your vision for and work on life messages means more people are finding their voice. By sharing life messages, others are being encouraged, supported, and discovering the opportunity to free their inner selves. To find their inner message and use their voice to share it. The choir of voices and actions they inspire will make a difference in this world.
